About Tusaale

INSPIRING A GENERATION

Tusaale was created to help young people get involved in organised football. At that time there was a lot issues (anti-social behaviour & crime) with young people in the local diverse communities. There was also so-called postcode rivalries between young people. Organised football would develop discipline and help channel their energy. It would also help bring youngsters from different areas together and help naturally talented youngsters to develop and join professional clubs regardless of ethnicity or religion.

Tussale's History

Tusaale United was formed in May 2011. We started off with three teams: u15s, u18s and a men’s Saturday team. The reason for forming the football teams was to help young people to help them get involved in organised football something they loved to do. At this time there was a lot of negativity surrounding young people in the local Muslim communities and football was seen as a way to integrate the youth. There was also a number of talented young footballers who could develop their skills and one day play in profession academies. In the following years the football team grew and had as many as 8 teams.
